EARTHQUAKE UPDATE - January 20, 2010

The staff is working on the computer network trying to fix the streaming connection problem at the station. In addition to these technical problems hindering the broadcasting of Radio Lumière, several computers are fighting viruses as well.

Despite these setbacks, programming for Radio Lumière is still being done under a tent and staff members were given a glimmer of hope as they received small advances on their salaries, thanks to generous contributions to World Gospel Mission’s Crisis Relief Fund.

Prayer Requests

• Praise the Lord that there has still been no rainfall in Port-au-Prince. With so many people living under makeshift bed-sheet tents, a downpour would be devastating. Please keep praying that God will hold off the rain.
• The need for civil engineers in Haiti is still urgent. Pray that  the staff will be able to contact an engineer today to check on the structural elements of the Radio Lumière studio.
